Generations of Grace

In this painting, three generations of the artist’s family are represented in front of their Georgia family homestead: her late grandmother (left), her mother (center), and herself (right). Painted in May 2018, this piece was created as a Mother’s Day gift for Marcie’s mother and marked the beginning of her foray into the world as an unexpected artist.
